Laterly ("we", "our", "us") operates the Laterly mobile application, web application, and Chrome extension. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, name (provided during registration or via Google/Apple Sign-In).
• Saved content: URLs, titles, descriptions, notes, tags, and collections you create.
• Device information: FCM token for push notifications, device type for analytics.
• Usage data: App interactions, crash reports (via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics).
• Subscription data: Purchase history managed through RevenueCat; we do not store payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Laterly service (saving, organizing, and syncing your links).
• To authenticate your account and manage your subscription.
• To send reminder notifications you have set.
• To improve app stability and performance through crash reporting.
• To send account-related emails (verification, password reset).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication, crash reporting, analytics, and push notifications.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management.
• Brevo: For transactional emails (verification, password reset).

These services process data according to their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12. JWT tokens are used for session management with short expiry times.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed immediately. Anonymized analytics and crash data may be retained by Firebase for up to 90 days.

6. Your Rights

• Access: View your data anytime in the app.
• Export: Export all your data in JSON, CSV, or HTML format from Settings.
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data. See our account deletion page.
• Correction: Edit your profile, links, and notes at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Laterly is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
